JDP Scholars

Each year the Jayda Dionne Scholarship Fund selects and honors an incoming freshman or current college student with a one-year scholarship. We are pleased to recognize our recipients who have demonstrated hard work, willingness to help others and determination against tremendous odds.

Sidney Berry

2022-2023 Recipient

Ms. Berry, a 3rd-year Public Relations scholar and member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., is an outstanding scholar with a 3.86 GPA who loves learning and lending a helping hand to others. Since middle school, she has overcome multiple challenges with focus and determination, and like Jayda, she has smiled her way through adversity.
